ADAPTIVE REUSE OF A GENERAL STORE-HOUSE

Developed in collaboration with Alameda Point Re-developers, the project is the Adaptive Reuse of the Historic General Storehouse, Building 8 at Alameda Point in California. The building is identified as a contributor to the Naval Air Station Alameda Historic District, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The project scope includes the rehabilitation of the deteriorated building shell, replacement of the utilities and infrastructure, accessibility improvements, in addition to the accommodation of new building uses including, commercial kitchens, work/live units, office spaces, a brewery, and community areas.
