CROWDEN SCHOOL MASTERPLAN, CLASSROOM AND THEATRE RENOVATION


Description 

“Old Jefferson Elementary School” was originally a Berkeley public school c.1921 designed by Henry Gutterson.  In 1987, it was designated a “Structure of Merit Landmark” by Berkeley’s Landmarks Preservation Commission.  In 1998, Crowden, a K-8 music school, transformed the historic building into an arts / performance / education facility.
