Marcy Wong received her Bachelor's degree in Art History from Columbia University, Barnard College in New York City. She obtained her graduate degree in architecture from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation -- where she was also awarded the William Kinney Travelling Fellowship, and her graduate degree in Structural Engineering from Stanford University. Following Stanford, she practiced in, both, the fields of architecture and engineering in San Francisco CA, Honolulu HI, and Hartford CT.
For ten years, Marcy served on the architecture faculty at the University of California, Berkeley, during which she founded her solo practice. With the advent of the new century, she and Donn Logan formed their current partnership in Berkeley, CA. Her work covers a diverse array of building types, a large proportion of which is for cultural and arts facilities. Marcy's projects have received several awards from the American Institute of Architects, at the national, state and local levels; the Interiors Magazine; the National Trust for Historic Preservation; and the United States Institute of Theater Technology.
