Marcy Wong received her Bachelor's degree in Art History from Columbia University, Barnard College in New York City. She obtained her graduate degree in architecture from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where she was also awarded the William Kinney Travelling Fellowship, and her graduate degree in Structural Engineering from Stanford University. Following Stanford, she practiced in both the fields of architecture and engineering in San Francisco, CA, Honolulu, HI, and Hartford, CT.

For ten years, Marcy served on the architecture faculty at the University of California, Berkeley, during which she founded her solo practice. With the advent of the new century, she and Donn Logan formed their current partnership in Berkeley, CA. Her work covers a diverse array of building types, a large proportion of which is for cultural and arts facilities. Marcy's projects have received awards from the American Institute of Architects; Interiors Magazine; National Trust for Historic Preservation; and the US Institute of Theater Technology.

KENT ROYLE

Kent Royle received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley and is a California licensed architect with 23 years of experience in the field. In addition to his comprehensive experience in architecture, Kent has expertise in energy consumption analysis and energy code compliance of buildings. He is co-author of Strategies for Energy Efficient Architecture for the Best Energy Education Publication, which was recognized with an award by the United States Department of Energy.

Kent has managed a wide variety of projects in program type, scale, and technical complexity, ranging from arts and education to industrial and infra-structure developments, and have taken them from preliminary design through construction documents and construction administration. His experience in project delivery is not only in terms of the traditional Design-Bid-Build, but also with Design-Build. He has managed projects for institutional clients and holds significant experience with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) review and approval process.

TAI-RAN TSENG

Tai-Ran Tseng is a project managing architect with more than two decades of experience in all stages of architectural practice from planning to construction administration. He has managed a wide range of projects, including performing arts centers, park facilities, educational buildings, offices, laboratories, and houses.

Tai-Ran’s all-around knowledge of construction detailing and engineering systems and codes enables him to resolve complex technical issues and to bring projects to successful completion. He is experienced in working with institutional groups, public agencies, and local community groups in developing sensible design solutions. He has a keen aesthetic sense and strong skills in BIM and 3D visualization. Having worked on many LEED projects since its early days, Tai-Ran brings knowledge and experience of green building design to projects.

Tai-Ran Tseng received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed architect in California and a LEED 2.1 Accredited Professional.
