WETA North Bay Operations Center

Description

Wong Logan Architects and GHD (Prime Consultant) designed this multi-faceted operations and maintenance hub that includes a Waterside Facility, Emergency Operations Center (EOC), Maintenance Shop, Fuel Farm and Operations Library. The project. Some highlights include:

• The Waterside Facility provides six berths for vessels for service (fueling, water resupply and pump out) and maintenance (generator change out wand water jet servicing.)

• The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at Mare Island provides emergency ferry services for survivors, first responders and service workers.

• The Landside Facility includes a seismically rehabilitated brick building and a new ground-up steel frame structure, housing the Operations Library and Maintenance Shop.
